No Future - 01 - 01 (Cover)- First Page

A story I wrote a very long time ago for my younger sister. I found it more recently and liked it enough to use for a quick draw comic experiment. Don't mind the less than ideal art (it gets better as I get more used to working fast), as for this particular title I work on pages quickly to help try and improve my drawing speed.

Death is final and cannot be changed, not even by gods.

The god of death accidentally took the life of Andrew Perkasin before it was his time to go, in an attempt to compensate Death asks Era and Aeon, two lesser time gods, to go back in time to warn Andrew of his fate and give him a second chance at living his life, so that he may live it with as much fulfillment as possible before his untimely encounter with death.

Andrew must now try to meet his life goals before he dies, while balancing school, family, his social life, a relationship and living alongside gods.

I spend most of my time at home often sick or in bed due to chronic illness (two auto immune disorders) . One of the symptoms of these illnesses is arthritis, which I have been diagnosed with since a young age.

Very often the arthritis will effect the quality of my work or my ability to work all together, so I apologize for the unstable schedule my illness causes.

Regardless, I write and draw because I have stories to tell and I enjoy telling them, even if I may not be the best at doing either.

Interests
As you may or may not have noticed, I have been unable to upload pages the last couple of days, and for those of you who know me a little better I have been very difficult to get hold of to talk to. Though a lot of BS has been happening to stress me out or make things difficult the big one that managed to knock me over finally happen. If you want to know why that is then continue reading. I'm sorry if I am not very good at wording or typing today, I have a very large stress induced migraine. Anyway.

My dog fell down the stairs and broke his leg, at least that is what we thought happened, it turned out that he didn't fall down and break his leg, he fell down because he was trying to use the stairs and his leg was broken.

When we took him to the vet they discovered that he has cancer, and the reason his leg was broken was because a tumor in his leg had grown so large it had broken then bone.

My options were to put him down, or have his leg amputated. Then optionally, follow that up with chemo.

So I went the amputation root, he had the surgery yesterday and I have been told it went well, he is eating and such but he's still not standing up on his own at the moment, so he'll be staying at the vet for today as well.

Without chemo, I have been told that he has a 'good' six month left, with chemo it would be a 'good' year. I'm still on the fence with chemo for two reasons, I most likely will not be able to afford it as well as I don't treatments like that to make him miserable (what would be the point to prolonging his life if he's just going to be sick and miserable the whole time?)

What does this mean? Well, my dog has cancer, and not much time left. I want to be able to spend more time with him while I can. This also means that my computer well be going back down to the main floor (because he can't get up the stairs) so little to no privacy for me while I am on the internet or working on the computer.

I will do my best to keep working on my webcomics, but the pacing on them may unfortunately be unsteady and all over the place. (again, this is not the only thing making things difficult for me to work on art at the moment) I understand that things are already going pretty slow, but I will do the best I can to keep them going despite the snail like release schedule.

Kura, what is your thoughts on Kojima leaving Konami?

Mostly not good.

I cancelled my preorder of MGS5. Doesn't' mean I will not get it eventually, but since they removed Kojima's name from the title I'm hesitant to give Konami any money before I get my game. I mean I really don't mind preordering some series, and that was one of the series I was more than happy to invest money into before getting the item. Silent Hills was gonna be another one. Not anymore.

If Konami is not interested in the video game market anymore and wants to focus on mobile and arcade that's fine, it's just frustrating that they can't even be bothered to complete already existing projects and/or, if rumors are true, treat their staff like shit, make working conditions intolerable and handle their divisions and decisions poorly to make anyone, not just names like Kojima, up and quit before seeing a project through.

hm

Will You be waiting for the reviews before you buy it?

Naw, I don't really depend much on reviews to be honest. Sometime I will let them affect how long I'll wait for a price drop / game fixes if the reviews complain about the game being broken or needing patches, but other than that I like coming up with my own opinions.

When I buy it is very much dependent on the type of game and if I have time to play it or not.
