Well, it is the end of April now, time goes by fast when you're waiting for your computer to get fixed so that you can start working on stuff again ><

I've never done this but I thought that I should start, as I though maybe having to goals might motivate me a little better in regards to the process of actually getting stuff done.

Complications to keep in mind - My computer isn't working, so all of my projects; writing and drawing are sitting on my hard drive waiting for me to build a new computer. Unfortunately without a job that isn't happening any time soon ;_; for now I have a laptop that I work off, I was dead lucky that my uncle decided to buy a new laptop and mailed his old one here because my brother likes to tinker with computers. Unfortunately I was only able to move my files for the Princess of Silver Sands novel and nothing else.

My brother is allowing me to use his secondary computer while he is at his girlfriends, but no one has the time to take 5 mins to set it up for me =_= my arm is really no good, and I can't carry something as heavy as the computer or the tablet (which is friggen heavy and awkward to carry) so I physically cannot hook it up myself. but yea, without that thing I can't actually make finished projects of my art, or get to the rest of my work that I have on my hard drives.

Princess of Silver Sands
This series has been going pretty slow, as there is so much too it really, not to mention that I only have the work related to my novel completely available to me, but anyway here goes.

Novel: Currently I am now working on chapter 45 of the second book. For those who know, I took a HUGE break from the series. First off, my computer broke, but then even after that I had to completely STOP work on this and well... EVERY other project I had because when I was working, I physically could not move when I got home, thuse preventing me from really doing any meaningful work.

I no longer have my job anymore though, and for the month of March and April and managed to slowly get back into the thick of things and write 7 more chapters. Which isn't a lot with someone that has no life and pretty much nothing else to work like me but hey, it's a start.

Manga / Comic: This has been put on hold for now, as I am in the middle of debate regarding it. I am thinking of cutting a bunch of chapters and scenes from it to make it unique from the novel, this is so that people who are interested in the story, might actually pick up and read the damn novel it was based off of. As I spent a lot of work on the novel, and the manga is NOT meant to be a replacement for it like most people seem to think it is. (Many people absolutely refusing to read the chapters because they are lazy and would rather wait for the manga and read that because it's easier to read. And yeah, I saw how well THAT went when I took the time and effort to draw up the Zimiko Knight's manga. Many people did not bother reading it and just 'looked at the pretty pictures' which was aggravating to me.

But yeah, have put this project on hold because I need to give it some serious thought on how I will now be doing it.

Other: Character designs for the characters in the first book are pretty much all done, but have constantly been going through small tweeks and updates. I tend to get bored with their clothing pretty fast and keep looking for ways to improve on it, and for now, that's okay, but I will eventually have to settle on a final design at least for the "Four Continents" arch. I also have to be careful as I tend to make them more and more detailed and complicated, resulting in it taking me FOREVER to draw the character in a comic / manga panel.

The Zimiko Knights
The spin off / prequel of Princess of Silver Sands if you will. Basically, they were a couple of chapters that were removed from the first book because it was already really really long. These chapters basically concerned Clor, Kara and Eymon, who were more secondary characters then full characters, thus not warranting them their own chapters on their past. Unfortunately is also left a few "That's just the way things are, you don't know how they got that way" issues here and there (Like the dragon that just happens to no longer have it's rider and why Eymon is so compelled to being the one responsible for looking after it) As well as some more minor characters and their scenes had to be removed (The commanders of East and South) which I found may have been a mistake, as those two play bigger rolls in the second book, and even larger ones in the third.

All in all though, I made the decision to at least put the removed chapters into manga form, just so I could do something with them, as well as the story behind said character could be there, just not right within the first book. I may include the missing chapters into the second book instead, but that's still an issue that's up in the air for me.

Manga: Work regarding this... is at a complete stand still. Everything is on the hard drive I can't get to, including my scripts, so really there's nothing I can actually do.

Other: The completed designs for their armor is getting closer and closer. (The character designs are all finished, the only thing I am still working on are the armor designs) pretty much every character has been finished except for a few pattern and detail designs for Orion and uhh... pretty much everything for Damon, I still have not gotten around to his armor yet.

The Newlyweds Next-Door
This is a project that no one is really going to be familiar with, it's a new one I started working on in April and this will be my first official announcement of the project. I'm aiming to have this as a manga / comic exclusive, as in, I won't be writing a novel version of this like I do with all my other stories. I am unsure about the title for now, not sure if I will keep it or if it will change as I continue working through it, but for now, that is the project's title.

In simple terms, the series is more of a slice of life concept as opposed to my usual fantasy and sci-fi novels, which follow the story of David and Noah, two guys that have recently gotten married and are raising the two kids (Timothy and Alex) from David's first marriage. There's a lot more to it then that, but that's just the basic intro for now, as I'm trying to wrap this up.

This one will be going a lot slower the Princess of Silver Sands, for now though because it's a new project it's been going faster, as so that I can get it up on it's feet. As well, I'll pretty much only be working on this one when I need a brake from my other projects.

Manga: So far I'm still in the scripting stage, I want to finish writing up a few more before I start working on the layout and drawings.

Other: Character designs have not yet been drawn out, I'm hoping to have this done, and if not done at the very least started by the end of May.

All other projects... currently on hold do to the computer situation.
