RW - Teddy and Dolly Conner by kurapika RW - Teddy and Dolly Conner by kurapika
The twin wolves Teddy and Dolly from Raven Wolf.

An image I drew in a sketch to compare the two, but I liked it and decided to finish it up. Both are in the domestic military uniform.

I pretty much drew this image because when I was drawing Dolly she was looking A LOT like Teddy, in fact she looked like I was drawing a slightly younger version of Teddy, (she's very flat so she looks like a boy at first glace, especially when compared to the other curved girls in this series, as well as tomboyish so she's always wearing boy's clothes) so I decided to sketch them side by side to make sure that I would still be able to tell the two apart with them still looking similar to one another. Just encase they looked too alike and I needed to make some changes to Dolly's design.

I think you can still tell them apart just fine.

Yeah, Dolly has got a feminine vibe. I'm still sittin ghere trying to figure out what it is...
I think the big definer is these three things:

+Posture. Her spine curves more than Teddy's, especially at her neck where it's craned back just a little, but her head is level. Gives a feeling of grace and poise that delivers feminity.

+Waistline. You drew her belt 3-4 inches higher than Teddy's giving her a more compact torso and longer looking legs and hips. Feminine phenotype.

+The angle Teddy is at. He's drawn so that his shoulders appear broader. It might help if you broaden his shoulders just a bit. This allows you to avoid a total redesign and gives you massive control over perception. Also, his waist could be thickened a little to give him more mass. Sort of gets the vibe across.

The drawings itself is really nice and I really like the characters at first glance, even thought the shading and details are simple. Kinda just pops at you. Cool uniforms too.

Great job! I really love the two together, but what really caught my eye was the uniform. Those garments are actually amazingly designed, and I saw some of your other stuff too and your clothing design is actually very creative and very eye-catching

Thanks ^^ I actually have a lot of fun with clothing designs (though sometimes picking colour pallets can be tedious)

The hard part is finding a happy medium between a detailed design and me having to draw it over and over again for the comics x.x This uniform though turned out pretty well, and I much like how it looks =)

Ugh, I know exactly what you mean about drawing it over and over. You did a great job though :D

Thanks ^^ I'm still getting used to this style of art as I'm new to the anthro style, so I'm often not too sure if people will like my results, so I'm very happy to hear that you think that it's been drawn well =)
